Irish Coffee in a Guinness Glass

Whether you want to start your St. Patty’s with something special or you are curling up with a nice warm after dinner drink, here are some Irish inspired coffee recipes to try out today. Enjoy!  🙂

Irish Coffee

  • 3oz Irish Whiskey
  • 12oz Strong coffee of your choice
  • 1Tbsp Sugar
  • Whipped cream

Mix together coffee, whiskey, and sugar. Top with whipped cream.

**Above is the traditional way to have Irish coffee.  Also noted: Some people like to pour Irish Cream Liqueur into their coffee for extra flavor.

Nutty Irishman

  • 1oz Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 1oz Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
  • 1oz Kahlua (coffee liqueur)
  • 5oz Hot brewed coffee
  • Whipped Cream, garnish
  • Green sugar sprinkles, garnish

Pour the liqueurs over the coffee in a mug. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles.

Bailey’s Sundae

  • 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1-2 oz Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 8oz Hot brewed coffee

Put the ice cream scoop in the bottom of a glass and coat with irish cream.  Pour coffee over and add additional irish cream and sugar to taste.

**Here is the recipe for serving a large group or party.
