Mitchell’s Coffee House- Lakeland, FL
A good friend and sorority sister of mine made a trip to Lakeland, FL recently and found a neat little coffee house!
She wrote about Mitchell’s Coffee shop on her blog Cross-country Adventures, here is an excerpt about the coffee house:
…ended up at Mitchell’s Coffee House (http://www.mitchellscoffee.com/) which is right downtown a few blocks from City Hall. It. Was. Fantastic. They had a wide variety of specialty, flavored latte drinks and both hot and cold specialty coffee drinks. I got the iced mudslide which included coconut, hazelnut, and chocolate flavors – delish! They also had a few pastries and breakfast burritos, as well as comfortable seating. I plan to visit Mitchell’s a few more times when I’m back in Lakeland!…
Well I see chocolate and coconut in there, so you know that has my attention! I can’t wait to find Mitchell’s the next time I make a trip down to the Orlando area to visit friends from college 🙂 You can find out all about Mitchell’s Coffee House on their website. Visit them if you are in the Lakeland area and try out one of those Mudslides!

As for Rachael, she is a sweet girl and one smart cookie! She just graduated from the Social Work Master’s Program at Florida State University (GO NOLES!!). Now she is going on to work for Teach For America in Colorado, how exciting! I am totally jealous of her skiing opportunities in the winter. You can follow Rachael in her travels across the country as she makes her way to and lives in Colorado. Give her blog a visit and see what her and her puppy Bunk are up to, tell her I sent you!
