This past weekend Mark and I were visited by some of his family. So it was me and 3 tall, blonde Swedish descendant men sharing our cozy space. It was great to see his family, spend time sightseeing, sharing meals and relaxing together. In preparation for this ‘Swedish invasion’ I picked up some provisions for the pantry during a recent trip to Ikea. I thought it would be funny to treat them to a Swedish breakfast of grain cereal and organic coffee.
The coffee is good, very mild, I personally prefer a bolder roast. Goes great with creamer, this coffee doesn’t have many stand out notes but will really highlight whatever flavors you add to it. Currently we are adding about two pumps of caramel syrup, no sweetener and french vanilla soy creamer…yum. One thing that I can say about their coffee is that it is definitely great for those with a budget in mind…and much better than all of the grocery store coffees in the same dollar range.
My recommendation: Go to Ikea, shop around, get dinner/lunch/breakfast in the cafeteria, stop in the food store near the registers and pick out a few fun and new things to try. It’s a little bit of fun bonding time for you and whomever goes with you, and hey, you might just find a few things you like!
