Starbucks Iced Coffee- Home Brew It!

starbucks iced coffee and bread

Yea that’s right…you read the title correctly my friends. Starbucks Iced Coffee is now…Home. Brewed.

I couldn’t resist this when I saw it on their website, article here.  Mark is a huge fan of their iced coffee and we both love stopping in for an iced coffee with caramel, which we now have at home too!  Now available at Starbucks stores and on their website, you can DIY Sbux iced coffee.  Honestly it is one of my favorite drinks because it tastes good and is so wallet friendly….and wouldn’t ya know they just made it more budget friendly.

My suggestion, if you are a Starbucks iced (brewed) coffee fan-

Stop by your local World Market or specialty food store and pick up some caramel syrup (like I did in this post) and a pump (very convenient), then go get yourself a bag of this coffee and brew away.  The instructions on how to brew and store cold are even on the side of the bag, how thoughtful of them! 🙂

On the website they suggest:

Enjoy with:

On the patio, with a slice of lemon pound cake.

That is one suggestion I don’t intend on passing up. Or maybe I’ll try making this delicious looking Double Chocolate (Whole-Wheat) Banana Bread that I found on one of my favorite food blogs, A Full Measure of Happiness.

I made my own bread to go with the coffee!

What do you think?

I, like your boyfriend, LOVE their iced coffee as well. I saw the bag the other day and i can’t wait to go buy it once i get back from florida. Do you know where to get the regular syrup they use in it if you just want it sweetened and which one is the best? Oh yeah and love your blog – love cami 🙂

Camila, did you say you like my boyfriend? You are married, does John know about this 🙂 Just kidding, I’m happy you like the blog!! You know you live relatively close to me so one day we should probably try to see each other. Just think, if anything, it would make Maria insanely jealous haha.

I would ask a barista about how they sweeten it, they are usually happy to help and share information about coffee. I usually order it plain and add my splenda/milk or I ask for it with caramel and then add some milk. Also, you can get just about any flavored syrup from World Market or check out the Torani site (http://www.torani.com/), I like their syrups and you can order whatever you want.

How is Fla? Hope you and the family are doing well! Say ‘Hi’ to your Mom and the littlest Hernandez sister for me 🙂
