Wednesday What’s in Mo’s Cup- Peet’s Coffee, Major Dickason’s Blend
This is definitely a darker roast, so I don’t recommend it to those who aren’t really into coffee. There is so much flavor in a cup of this coffee that it would taste fine black or black with a little agave nectar. No milk necessary… seriously folks. Peet’s is just that good.
Mark has been trying to get me to buy a bag of Peet’s Coffee for the longest time. I resisted. And then I resisted some more. He insisted that others sung it’s praises and I even published a post about Peet’s Colombian AND Ethiopian coffees being ranked really high by Consumer Reports. I STILL resisted. Finally….we ran out of coffee. I caved. 🙂
Okay so maybe I shouldn’t have resisted so long, but in my defense, their coffee is fairly pricey..seriously $16 for a bag that isn’t even a pound of coffee?? Are you flying me to Columbia to taste this coffee? Oh, you aren’t? Oh man…too bad, hey I see Seattle’s Best on sale over there! —-This is pretty much how trips to the store went lol.
But I can happily admit that I was wrong about avoiding Peet’s and that it lives up to the hype (still not too sure about the price)…this is one darn good cup of joe.
